Bride of Anubis

"Forgive me my lady." he said, "Nefertari is just a bit nervous."

"I think i know why." Isis giggled

Anubis smiled and politely put his fingers to his lips, "Shh, we want to tell them."

Isis nodded and smiled, "Very well."

Isis brought the to Osiris' audience chamber, "Sire." Anubis bowed.

Isis smiled and kissed her husband. "Hello my Love."

"My dear wife and Anubis.....and miss Nefertari, what bring you here?" he asks.

"They have something to tell you my love." She said

"Really? Well the, tell me." he said.

Anubis lifted his head and smiled, "Nefertari has agreed to be my wife."

Nefertari blushed and nodded, "It is true."

He smiled, "I had a feeling you would say yes." he chuckled, "But I am happy for both of you."

She blushed, "Thank you Sir,"

"We wish to arrange the marriage on the first full moon of spring." Anubis told him.

Osiris rubbed his chin, "WHat do you think my love?" he glanced to Isis.

Isis smiled, "The wedding has my blessing."

"I agree. So be it, It shall be done. But when should it be announced?" Osiris queried.

Nefertari looked to Anubis

"I will announce it when the new begins." Anubis said.

"That is in three days time." Osiris calculated, "Very well."

Nefertari curtsied, "Thank you Sir, but we do have one last request."

"Yes young one?" he urged her.

"Well..." She blushed. "Anubis and I would like to adopt Femi after we wed."

"They young servant girl?" Osiris looked to Anubis, "Why?"

"Because Nefertari took a shine to her and Femi has been serving me for so long, well and loyally. I agree with Nefertari, we want to adopt her." he explained.

Nefertari turned to Isis, "Surely you know how I feel."

"Of course." she smiled, "Please love, let them. They will have children of their own as well."

Nefertari looked at him with pleading eyes.

Osiris sighed with a smile, "It would seem I am outnumbered. Very well, she can be adopted."

She smiled, "T hank you Sir."

He nodded, "Is there anything else?" he asked.

"No sir thats all." She took Anubis' hand and squeezed it

"Then you may leave." he said.

"Thank you SIre." they left. Anubis kissed her hand as they exited the palace, "Soon my love, soon."

She smiled, "I know. I'm just a little anxious."

"I'll be here for you." he kissed her cheek, "I promise."

She chuckled, "I know."

They headed back to Anubis' palace, "What would you like to do today?"

"Don't you have work?" She asked.

"Yes, but I want to know what you want to do after I return." he smiled.

She blushed, "I am not sure."

"Well, I will let you think about it. I need to go now." he kissed her, "See you soon." he vanished.

She smiled, "I'll see you soon too."

She headed inside and spotted Femi and a couple of the other servant girl weaving baskets.

She smiled and sat down next to her, "Can I help?"

"Do you know how miss?" one of the older girls asked.

Nefertari smiled, "Yes I do."

"Then by all means." they smiled, making room on the mat.

She smiled and started weaving.

They were making different sizes, "We had to make new ones, the old ones are getting worn out."

She smiled, "You girls work very hard, don't you?"

"Yes miss, but we enjoy it." they smiled, "Plus it is most exciting with you becoming the lady of the house." they wiggled their eyebrows cheekily.

Nefertari blushed, "Girls do not think such unpure thoughts."

"Sorry miss, but we are already are already married. SO we can think them." they giggled a bit.

Nefertari gasped, "But you girls are so young."
