Emerald Warrior

Gwen had trouble with the dancing and some of the ladies laughed and made fun of her behind her back.

Ravatus was talking with some friends and he saw Gwen dancing, chuckling a bit. But he saw the other girls whispering to each other.

"Have you seen that girl? She is such a clutz." One said

"I hear the only reason he is marrying her is because she is pregnant with the princes child!" Another said

"I heard she was just a simple peasant girl he found on the street and took her in." another added,

"Well, whatever it is, she is obviously just after his wealth.

"Obviously! But I think She is pregnant cause there is no way he would marry her anyways."

"I have heard Prince Ravatus has gotten many a young girl pregnant." another added.

"Well I think that his brother the king, was so sick of him he told him he had to marry her and the queen agreed."

Ravaus was getting angry, but before he could act,

"Enough!" a voice sounded out, the ladies turned to see Raktim and Isis, looking really displeased.

"Your Highnesses!"

"This is an occasion of happiness and union! Not gossiping like a class of children!" Raktim growled.

"Y-yes Sir!"

"If this continues, I will have you escorted out of the palace!" he gave his finally warning.

"It wont happen again Your Highness."

He snuffed and he walked back to the throne, with Isis right behind him. Once he sat back down, "COntinue."

The musicians returned to playing music and the people to their enjoyment.

Ravatus went over to his fiancee', "Are you alright?"

"Yeah... I'm fine. I just don't know why Ratkim went off on those girls."

He sighed, "Best if you do not know." he said, "COme, dance with me."

She nodded and fallowed him onto the dance floor,"I don't know if you've noticed,but I don't know the dances."

"It doesn't matter, just try your best and have fun with it." he encouraged.

"Okay..."

He took her hand and they entered the dance floor with other couples, "Follow my movements as best as you can."

She nodded, "Alright, but after tonight I'm gonna show you how we dance on earth."

He gave a smirk, "Sounds intriguing."

She rolled her eyes, "Not like that."

He chuckled, "I know, I know, I just like to tease."

She rolled her eyes, "What ever."

"Oh don't be like that. I would be happy to know some of your culture." he said.

She smiled, "Good."

After a while, they sat down for the feast. SHe and Ravatus sat next to Raktim and Isis and were served first.

Her and Isis chatted while they ate. The brothers chatted too.

Raktim was doing his best to make 'civil' conversation with him. But they talked more about the other provinces and how the harvests are going.

Isis sighed and looked to Gwen, "Well, as long as they are talking."

She smiled, "It's a start."

Ravatus thanked him for stepping in and shutting up those girls

"Ravatus, you know what I am like with gossip. I hate it more than I do your philandering personality." Ravatus gave a nervous chuckle, "Oh I'm not that bad, brother." ^^;

He rolled his eyes and continued eating

The night went on without problems or gossiping form the ladies.

It was getting late and Gwen was yawning

Ravatus informed his brother and Isis they would be retiring for the night and will see them later. Ravatus thanked his brother and they left.

Gwen said her goodbyes to Isis and left with Ravatus

As they were leaving, Ravatus remembered something, "For the spirits sake, I'll be right back, wait here." he headed back to the palace.

AS he left, someone bumped into Gwen, "Oh! I'm sorry about that!" it was a girl voice.

"Oh it's fin- Kayla?" She said in shock.

"EH!? Gwen?!" Gwen looked at Kayla and what she was wearing, a lilac dress that cuts just at the knees with a sash and her hair all curled and placed in a bun.

"Oh Kayla! Everyone has been so worried about you since you disappeared! Where have you been?" She asked then she felt stupid for asking.

Kayal shrugged, "I've been hear." she said simply, "But what are YOU doing here? I was told barely any humans come here."

"Well as it turns out. I'm not completely human. I'm part Angel." She showed her her wings

"Whoa...that's more a shock than finding yourself in a totally different world... You look really different, I would not have guessed it was you from a distance." she said.

"yeah still kinda new to me too." She chuckled

Kayla sighed, Unfortunately, I am living with a rather 'childish' sort of person." she said,

"CHildish? You don't seem to think that when I kiss you." a chuckle came, Kayla and Gwen looked to the palace steps, "WHo is this fine young lady Kayla?" he asked with a smile.

THis man was tall, longish dark brown red hair and brown eyes.

"Well I guess it's good some one doesn't know me yet." She chuckled. "I'm Gwen."

"Ah, you are the fiancee' to Ravatus. Raktim has told me about you." he smiled, Gwen was a little surprised by his informality to the King.

"I'm guessing your close friends with him."

"With Raktim? Oh yes I am. WHere are my manners, I am Councillor Uzar Kazdel and might I say you look lovely this evening." he smiled.
