She chuckled, "You are the cutest thing."

The little dragon laid down and waited patiently for Gwen to finish getting ready.

She did her hair up nicely and put on the necklace Isis had given her.

The Baby dragon perked up and looked to the balcony doors and gave a growl.

Gwen turned around and found Ruriel standing at the doors.

"Ruriel?" She said. She turned to the dragon, "Shh... it's okay he's a friend."

Ruriel kept his distance from the little creature, "How is the world did you get a Volcanic Stoker Pup?"

"It was a gift from the king." She sighed.

When Ruriel got a bit too close, the dragon jumped off the bed and growled,

"Whoa, alright, alright." he said, "Be careful, this breed is intelligent, brave and...." the dragon growled again, "...Protective."

She glared at the dragon, "Bad boy. We do NOT attack our friends." She scolded/

The dragon cringed and gave a small chirp, "Don't worry, its just instincts. If i am around him more he'll get use to me. But it is always what he thinks on smell too."

She sighed, "Yeah... Sorry bought that. Now why did you come?"

He sighed loudly, "Because I am having great trouble with a very 'annoyed' Nuclii angel." he said.

She looked away, "It's my fault. I'm sorry."

"What happened Gwen?" he asked, "He isn't telling me anything."

A tear ran down her cheek, "I told him I didn't love him."

He looked at her, "Why did you tell him something which is not true?" he asked plainly.

"It was the only way to protect him." She said trying not to cry

Ruriel got her in his arms, "He is very miserable. He barely comes out from his room."

"I know how he feels, but I must do this for him to live."

"He would not have cared. He just wanted you to be by his side." he sighed.

"I know..." She said. "I feel horrible about it."

"Do not worry. He is recovering, but I am afraid we might have a problem..."

"What?" she ased worried

"My friend at the INN told me that he has seen goons that works for Anubiss about town, disguised as civilians." he said

"I promise I'll leave as soon as possible."

"How are you going to get away from Ravatus?" he asked.

Then the little dragon heard something coming and growled, Ruriel turned to the window, "Be safe, I'll return soon. You really should call him Govad, he really is a 'watcher'." he flew off.

Ravatus came in, "Well, you look very- AHH!" he jumped when he found the little dragon growling at him.

She chuckled, "Govad down."

The Little dragon came over to her, "Did my BROTHER give that to you?" he asked, -_-;

"Yes..." ^^;

"Why am I not surprised? He did have a breeding pair of Volcanic Stokers on one of his farms, they are very rare to come by." he kept his distance from Govad, who kept his eyes on Ravatus.

She looked at him, "Do NOT growl at him again."

"I'm not worried about being bitten, at this age they can not control their fire balls." he swallowed the nervous feeling in his throat.

She sighed, "Very well."

Govad looked at Gwen and chirped, "Oh we have a party to attend." he remembered.

She smiled, "Yes we do. Govard you stay here, okay?"

Govad gave a sad chirp as they left.

She smiled, at Ravatus, "So why did your brother REALLY give me a dragon?"

"With giving you a Volcanic Stoker, they are used as war steeds and as guard dragons, but they are very loyal to whoever they are with...especially the males." he sighed.

"I think he was hoping it would fry you." She chuckled.

"Beside the Extreme dragons, they have the hottest flames of any breed of fire dragon. SO yes, I thinks that was his plan." -_-

She chuckled and kissed his cheek, "Don't worry. I won't let it."

"Are you alright? Your eyes look a little red?" he asked, lifting her chin.

"Huh? Yeah im fine."

He kissed her cheek, "Alright, are we ready to head there?"

She nodded, "Yes, I'm ready."

In all their finery, they arrived to the doors of the great hall, the guards opened the doors and to show the palace all decked out and filled with guests.

The guest clapped when they saw them enter

Ravatus smiled, "Let us go and have some fun shall we?"

She nodded and fallowed

There were traditional dances, a grand feast and plenty of mingling and chatting.
