Emerald Warrior

A black cat was wondering around the city streets, minding his own business. It jumped up onto trash cans and through ally ways, looking for its next meal. "Meow." it mewed as he saw people walking around in the busy streets.

Genevieve was walking down the street on her way home from school and saw this little kitty trying to avoid being stepped on by all the people. "Awww come here kitty." She picked him up. "Here I'll take you home with me and I'll take care of you."

The cat just looked at her and was unsure, he meowed of his unsureness. His fur went all spiked up.

"Don't worry Kitty I wont hurt you. I promise." She held her hand out for him

The cat inched a bit closer and sniffed her hand but he heard something and it spooked him, causing him to run off.

"WAIT!" She ran after him

It was too late the cat had gone and out of sight.

She sighed, "Oh well..." And headed home.

She may not be able to see the cat anymore but the cat could still see her. He blinked and followed her at a distance.

She sighed, "I really wish that cat didn't run away."

The black cat heard but still didn't show himself.

She arrived home and the cat hid in the bushes outside her house, watching as she fiddled with her house keys.

She finally found the right one. "Geez why do I have so many keys in the first place,"

The cat ran to the the side of the house, listening to where she may be going inside. Then he spotted her at a window. A tree was right next to it and he climbed up the tree and and hid in the branches.

She was brushing her hair out. After getting a good look at her he was reminded of some one he once loved.

The cat sighed and relaxed on a branch, but kept his hearing on alert.

His thoughts wandered to his lost love. He snapped out of it when he heard Gwen singing a song that was familiar to him. It was from his world.

The cat got up and went a little closer, listening to the song. He was entranced and wasn't paying attention to his surroundings.

He wondered how the girl could have known the song.

THen a figure was sneaking up behind the cat, quietly getting closer, getting ready to pounce.

Gwen then turned, when saw the figure, she screamed,

The cat turned around and hissed at the figure and jumped away before the figure could grab him.

"Come here you little pest!" the figure growled, chasing the black cat.

Gwen threw a book at the figure, "GO away you pervert!!"

The figure looked to the window, "Huh?" a book flew right into his face, "OW! Hey stop it will you!?" he shouted, still getting things thrown at him.

"GET OUT OF HERE YOU PERVE! HOW DARE YOU WATCH ME THROUGH MY WINDOW YOU STALKER!" She threw more stuff at him.

The man then vanished in front of her eyes.

This caused her to jump. "That was creepy."

Then the cat jumped on the window sill, causing her to get another fright.

"Oh geez it's just you kitty." She walked to the window and picked him up.

The cat let her pick him up. The figure was on the neighbours rooftop, "That little pest! AND I was spotted, not good. Ahh, the boss is going to kill me." he vanished.

"Aww did you fallow me kitty?" She cuddled him. "Your so sweet." she kissed him atop his head.

The cat looked at her, he had big green eyes.

She smiled, "What pretty eyes you have kitty."

"The cat started to purr and rubbed his cheek against her arm. He had silky fur, unusual for a stray.

"Hmm... do you have an owner Kitty?" When Ruriel looked up at her he noticed her necklace. It had a very familiar looking stone

The cat tried to get her neck, but Gwen thought he was trying to play.

"Awww Silly kitty. This necklace isn't for you to play with."

He grumbled and he got his paw on the gem and the necklace started to glow.

"What in the world." Shhe jumped almost dropping the cat.

The cat jumped onto her bed and watched it glow a light pink.

The glow vanished and the cat shook himself and looked at Gwen.

"What happened?" She asked

"You have a Light stone. Very rare." a voice answer her.

"Did you just talk?" She gaped

The cat tilted his head, "It would seem so."

She started getting a little crazy, "Y-you talked again. H-hehe I'm dreaming. That's it! I'm dreaming. There is no way a cat could talk in real life."

The cat rolled his eyes and walked over to her side and scratched her hand.

"Ouch!" She said holding her hand. "What the hell did you do that for?!"

"You said you must have been dreaming, I just proved you're not dreaming." he said casually, his had a mature voice.

"BUT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR CATS FOR TALK!"

He sighed, "I wasn't born a cat my dear girl."

"Then what are you? A human?" She asked
