She chuckled, "Thank you." She turned to Kayla and winked. "You found your self quite a catch."

"I'm his guest." she said plainly, "No guest of mine would be allowed to KISS me Kayla." he smirked cheekily, making Kayla smack his arm, "OW!" "Don't say that aloud!" she said through her teeth.

She chuckled, "This is the most interest I've ever seen you give a guy."

"Maybe its because he was the most persistent and actually is charming....when he wants to be." she added,

"Hey!" Uzar said.

She chuckled, "I think you finally found yourself a boyfriend." She winked

"Actually we are in a way 'courting'." she said.

Uzar smiled, "Oh do not sound so drab about it, you with the most handsome man in Balthazar."

-_- Kayla sighed, "THis is what I have to deal with."

She chuckled, "Consider yourself lucky."

Kayla sighed, "You haven't lived with him for two months." she said.

She chuckled, "You defiantly found yourself a keeper."

Uzar smiled at Gwen's words, "Well, at SOMEONE thinks so." he chuckled, Kayla grumbled.

"Can we go home now?" she asked Uzar, "Oh yes. I almost forgot. It was a pleasure seeing you My lady." he bowed, "I hope you will accept my invitation to come to my house sometime?"

She smiled, "I would love to come and visit,:

"I would be honoured." he bowed, "Until then, good night." he escorted Kayla to their palanquin and they headed off.

Ravatus came back, "Sorry, I had to ask my brother something." he said, "Come let us retire for the night." he escorted Gwen to her room.

"Sleep well." he smiled, kissing her cheek.

She hugged him, "Goodnight."

He made sure she went into her room before he headed into his own.

Dovad greeted Gwen when she entered the room, happy tail wagging and big eyes.

She smiled, "I'm guessing you missed me."

He licked her hand and jumped on her bed a bit.

She smiled and changed into her night gown, "What a strange evening."

Dovad got snuggled up next to her and yawned.

"Good night," She yawned and fell asleep.

The next morning Dovad and Gwen were still sleeping soundly in her bed. Dovad was snoring slightly but too loud that h would wake Gwen.

Ravatus came in and thought he would be a little sneaky with her, so he climbed into bed next to her

But just before he could get comfortable, "GRRRRRR!" "AHH!" he jumped out of the bed looking at Dovad, who was growling at him, baring his teeth, which meant a fight in dragon terms.

"I forgot about you." he glared at the little dragon.

The dragon glared back

Dovad growled deeper, smoke seeping out between his teeth, "Don't you EVEN think about it." Ravatus warned him.

Gwen started waking up, "What is going on?"

Ravatus backed off and Dovad calmed down, "He was thinking about frying me." Ravatus accused.

Dovad huffed a ball of smoke at Ravatus, "AH! *Cough* *cough* You little pest! *cough*"

She yawned and patted his head, "Be nice to him Dovad he will be your owner too soon."

Dovad snuffed and jumped off the bed.

Ravatus waved the smoke away and finished coughing, "Ah, disgusting. It smells like sulphur."

She sighed, "He was a gift from your brother,"

"I know, but Volcanic Stokers are not my type of breed. I like a more docile breed." he said.

She chuckled, "Well tell that to your brother,"

"Unfortunately you can not question a gift from the King." he grumbled, "When this little beast gets older he won't be using smoke, he will be using fire." he glared at Dovad, who just glared back.

"Both of you behave!"

Dovad backed off immediately, Ravatus just grumbled and crossed his arms, "Well anyway, Our engagement celebration is still going on, we need to get ready." he headed to the door.

"Still?" She groaned. "I'm still exhausted.And I have a killer headache."

"What? But you did not drink any wine last night? How do you have a aching head?" he asked, walking back over to her and touching her forehead.

"I did have a sip, it tasted abit strong so I put it down."

"You must have eaten too many sweets, a sip of wine will not cause a head ache." he sighed, "Luckily the Celebration does not required our presence yet, so i will have breakfast sent to you in bed. Get some rest." he advised.

She smiled, "Thank you."

With that he left the room, leaving Gwen and Dovad to themselves.

Dovad jumped back up onto the bed and gave a chirp to her.

She smiled and pat his head, "Please make nice with him. He is going to be my husband."

He next to her and got comfortable, giving a small grunt.

Gwen went back to sleep. When Ravatus came in he, smiled and kissed her forehead

Dovad let him near her this time, even if it did annoy him.

Ravatus sighed as he looked at Gwen, "You will make such a lovely wife....strong willed as well."

A few hours later Gwen woke up. She got dressed and went looking for him.

"Dovad followed her this time, the pitter patter of his claws on the marble floor sounding out behind her.

Ravatus was in the library reading certain scrolls when he heard the doors open, "Hmm? Who is there?"

"Sorry, did I interrupt you?"

"Oh, Its you Gwen. No, I am just catching up on some reading." he said.

"Well yesterday I ran into a friend from Earth, Kayla. I was wondering if I could visit her today?"

He blinked, "I thought I explained to you about leaving the Palace. It is not safe." she sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
