Emerald Warrior

He looked her over and he held out a hand, Gwen then levitated.

"How are you able to become an angel with so little blood in your veins?" he asked himself.

Her necklace caught his eye.

"Hmm....he made the necklace float but didn't touch it. "A light stone... how rare."

Gwen started to stir and a symbol appeared on her forehead.

"Hmm?" he looked at her symbol, "An Angelic Seal? Why would she have one of those?"

Gwen's eyes started to open, "W-where am I?" She asked herself

"My palace." a dark raspy voice answered her.

Her eyes widened as she tried to sit up, but couldn't move.

"What is the matter, can not move?" he snickered cruelly.

"W-who are you and why am I here?" She asked

"I...am Anubiss..." he hissed, "And I will be asking the questions. Like how did you get Ruriel back to his angel form?" he squinted his red eyes at her.

"I don't know! This is the first time I have seen him like that. He said something and he changed." She said

"And HOW did THAT happen?" he stood and walked around her in the shadows.

"I told you. I don't know!" She said getting a little scared.

"Then tell me...how you got into your possession, a light stone?" he crouched next to her, glowering over her.

"My great grandmother gave it to me as a gift before she died." She told him

"And who was she?" he hissed.

"Why should I tell you that?" She challenged.

"Because I will kill you if you do not." his hand illuminated a ominous red glow.

"H-her name was Celest." She caved in fear.

He growled, "I should have known....You are a descendant of Ruriel's former lover." he stood, "Now I see how you have ANgel blood."

"What are you going to do with me?" She asked concerned.

"For now, you will be incarcerated." he looked to the shadows and Toximus came out, "Take her to the dungeon and keep an eye on here." Toximus bowed and picked Gwen up and threw her over his shoulder and headed off.

After she left the room she regained mobility, "PUT ME DOWN!"

"Quit moving around you little brat." he growled, "Or she might bite you."

"You wouldn't dare." She glared.

Then the Coral snake slithered out of the collar of his shirt, "Careful, she doesn't like it when people are rude to me." he smirked, the snake hissed.

Gwen froze in place.

Toximus smirked, "Not so brave now are you?"

"Please just let me go home," She asked him

"Sorry cutie, your a valuable asset right now..." he looked at her back side, "ANd I may I say, you have a nice ASSet on you too." he chuckled.

Tears stung her eyes, "Is this what is to become of me? A slave and prisoner to be harassed." She started crying.

He sighed, "Don't cry, I was merely complementing you. You take things too seriously."

She sniffed, "It still doesn't feel good being harassed."

"Hey, i'm rather nice compared to others in this place." he frowned, "Be glad its me that's watching you."

"What do you mean?" She sniffed.

"I'm not gonna grab your ass, unlike a couple others here." he reached the prison and placed her on the flat bed, with an old mattress.

He loosened her bonds and he left the room, locking the door and he sat on a chair outside the cell.

She curled up in a ball and started weeping again.

Meanwhile...

Ruriel was sitting on the roof of Celean's cottage, feeling like a failure. "I let her down.... Celest, I failed you."

Celine sighed, "Ruriel please come down, This is not your fault."

"I should have sensed him coming and you got hurt." he pointed at her wrist.

"No no it is my fault. I wasn't able to defeat him."

"Did Celest teach you Angel combat?" he asked.

"No not really. I never had the ability to transform. I do have the magic of one though so I know quite a few spells."

"You never excerised your wings and they vanished... it happens, even for a half angel." he jumped down, "What can we do?"

She shook her head, "I was never able to transform. I took more after my father than my mother." She sighed, "Do you have anything of Gwens?"

"I...I'm afraid not." he sighed.

She sighed, "Neither do I."

"Well, We need to do something." he said.

Celine sighed, "I know."

Meanwhile Gwen had cried herself to sleep. Toximus was sitting outside the door feeling bad about it.
