Well, bad enough for a crony to be. He heard her sobbing earlier and tried to ignore it, but when she fell asleep, he was relieved. He was never good at comforting someone.

After a few more hours Anubis wanted to see her again

"Talismyn, send word to Toximus and bring our prisoner to me." he ordered, Talismyn bowed and left.

When Toximus opened the cell. She was still sleeping. Her wings wrapped around her like a blanket. She looked so cute.

"Her wings haven't folded." he noticed and walked up to her, his hand glowed green and with one finger he tap her wings and they vanished but leaving two oval birth marks on her back.

"That's better."

She groaned a little in protest but did wake.

He looked at her figure as she slept, "She must not be a warrior...or she would have sense that before I touched her."

Talismyn rolled his eyes, "Quite fawning over her and bring her to the throne room."

"Shut up Talismyn." he frowned at him. He sighed a scooped her up and carried her out of the cell and back to Anubiss' throne room.

He laid her on the floor in front of him again

"How did her wings fold?" he looked to Toximus, "I made them fold Sire, she doesn't know how and she looked uncomfortable so-" "Enough! I don't want to hear excuses."

"Now begone Toximus. Talismyn you stay here." He ordered

Toximus sighed, bowed and left.

Anubiss turned to Talismyn, "What should we do with her?"

"I believe Sire...if she is such a threat to us, we should make her a threat to our enemy." Talismyn said plainly.

Anubiss grinned, "I am quite interested to hear your plans."

"Reprogram her mind to be loyal to you." he said crouching at her side.

Anubiss grinned, "Do it."

Toximus peeked from the shadows, "Reprogram?"

"I need to prepare the spell for it. For now, we will keep her in the prison and under surveillance." he said.

"Toximus!" Anubiss called.

He flinched, "Uh, yes sire?" he made it look like he just arrived.

"I want you to take her back to her cell and keep a close eye on her." He commanded

"Yes sire." he picked Gwen up and took her back to the cell.

When Gwen woke up she was still in the cell.

Toximus was playing with one of his baby cobras. Leaning on the wall next to the cell door.

He heard her moving, "Finally awake sleeping beauty?"

She yawned, "How long have I been sleeping?" Then she noticed her wings were gone, "Where are they?!" She asked frantically. "Where are my wings?"

"Don't worry they are inside you. You looked uncomfortable sleeping with them on your back, so I had them fold." he said, still playing with the baby cobra.

She relaxed a bit, "Oh... Thank you..."

"Hmph." was all he spoke. "Keep your thanks, its nothing to me."

Gwen sighed, "Why do you put up with him?" She asked. "He treats you like trash."

"Its part of his personality." Toximus shrugged, "I'm used to it."

"But he shouldn't treat you so harshly."

"As I said, I'm used to it. ife is harsh any way." he sat in the chair.

"It doesn't have to be." She said, "It can be full of love and happiness, if you let it."

He laughed, "I'm afraid you have had a sheltered life. Where I come from, you need to have more than Love or happiness. You strength and cunning as well."

"Aren't you-" Her words were cut off when the door opened and Toximus and Talismyn were standing in the door way, "Our master has summoned you." Talismyn said

"But it hasn't even been an hour! You can't be ready now." Toximus said to him.

Gwen looked nervously between the two, "Ready for what?"

Toximus sighed, "You'll see."

Gwen backed up against the wall, "Tell me whats going on?!"

Talismyn pointed at her, "Sleep."

Gwen tried to stay awake. It was no use and she eventually fell asleep. Toximus caught her before she hit the ground.

He sighed, "Come on. Let's get this done." he carried her bridal style to the throne room.

Talismyn eyed him, "You do not seem happy with this."

"Can't you use a binding spell or a resistant collar or something else than REPROGRAMMING her?" he sighed.

He shook his head, "It is Masters will. If you do not like it than bring it up with him."

He sighed, "Fine." They arrived and Toximus placed her on the floor in the middle of a ring of candles.

Anubiss smiled, "We will have another addition to our clan. Why are you not happy Toximus?"

"I think A restraining collar would be better sire." he said.

He raised an eyebrow, "Really and why is that?"
