Bride of Anubis

"You agreed to try and get to know me....i want you to part of my life." his eyes begged her.

She sighed, "I wouldn't have agreed if I knew it would cause you so much stress."

"I will deal with it! I , mean it Nefertari." he said to convince her.

"Are you sure?"

"I am. So please....give it a chance and do NOT let Set get the better of you." he held her close.

She nodded, "I will stay."

He smiled and kissed her right on the lips.

She stood there savoring the kiss

He held her close, deepening the kiss.

She wrapped her arms around his neck not letting go.

He pulled back and leaned his forehead to hers, "Come along. Let us walk back." he suggested instead of using magic.

She blushed and nodded.

They walked along the pond, his arm still around her waist.

She smiled blissfully as they walked

"In a couple more years...I hope you can be this relaxed with me." he said with a small smile.

She blushed and smiled, "Yeah..."

"Do you still wish for that one day a year with your family?" he queried.

She blushed, "I don't know... they all believe I'm dead."

He sighed, "I have been meaning to tell you something, but I was not sure how you would react."

"What is it?" She asked worried.,

"When I went the Opening of the Mouth ritual, I found out it was your aunt's husband the pharaoh." he exhaled.

"OH no... Thats not good." Nefertari seemed worried

"Also....I also noticed your aunt is wife child." he added.

She sighed, "Doesn't surprise me that she's pregnant."

He kissed her temple, "I'm sorry about not telling you earlier."

"It's fine." She sighed

"Come along." he encouraged, "Talk to me, I want you to get everything off your mind."

"Well.." She blushed, "You might not have to wait for 2 years."

He paused, "What are you saying?" blinking, not sure if he heard her right.

She blushed even more, "I kinda um... love you."

He was speechless, he couldn't do anything but blink, "..................I.....uh..." he blushed like mad under his gold mask.

She smiled a bit, "What do you think?"

"......I don't need to think about how I feel about you." he smiled and he pulled her close. "I love you...."

She smiled, "I want to marry you Anubis." She kissed him

Slightly taken aback from the kiss, but he didn't pull away. He kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her.

She smiled and put her forehead to his, "I do have one request though."

"Yes?" he looked at her.

"I want to adopt Femi." She said.

He tiled her head, "Adopt her?" he smiled.

"Well...if it is what you wish, I will grant it." he kissed her cheek.

She smiled, "Good. I have been rather fond of her since I've met her."

"It shall be done then. We just need to tell her the news." he chuckled lightly.

"I hope she accepts." She said worried.

"She will." he said as the continued to walk along.

She smiled, "I guess I'll have to trust you."

"Do you not trust me?" he asked, a little worried.

She chuckled, "I meant about her decision."

"I think she'll accept. But whatever she chooses, I will treat her like family...for you." he kissed her cheek.

She smiled, "If she doesn't I'll hold it to ya." She teased.

"Oh come now, I am not that bad." he pouted slightly.

"I'm teasing." She chuckled.
