Bride of Anubis

He had his arm wrapped around her waist and kept her close throughout the night.

The next day....


The first to wake was Nefertari and she felt like she had been hit by a chariot.

"What happened?" She said. She tried to sit up but the weight of Anubis' arm kept her down.

She turned to see what was weighing her down and found human-headed Anubis asleep next to her, with his arm around her.

She smiled softly. 'He had taken me to Nefertem's for the cure and it seems he succeeded.'

He still didn't wake up from her moving about. He murmured in his sleep.

A rucas started in the palace Serket had broken in. Otep and Ank came running in with warning,

Anubis' eyes snapped open and he pulled Nefertari behind him when Serket came in along with her scorpions.

"Is it true..." She asked her eyes narrowed, "You made her into a goddess."

Anubis glared at her, "Get out of my house Serket!" he growled along with ANk and Otep.

"Tell Me! Is it true?!" She demanded.

"And what if it is Serket!!" he barked, "Get out!!" he kept one hand on Nefertari the whole time.

Her eyes glowed dangerously, "One way or another you will be mine." She made a lunge for Anubis,

The a lionness came out from the door and pounced on Serket and it pinned her down, in came Sakhmet and Bastet, "I thought you would try again." she crossed her arms, "Seba stay on her." she ordered the lioness.

"IT'S NOT FAIR!" Serket screamed.

"Can you not see it Serket, Anubis does not wish for your affections." Bastet said to her.

"It's still not fair! I tried for countless of years to win your affection." She cried.

Nefertari was still clutching Anubis' arm.

"I do not feel the same for you Serket. I have told countless times, you are not for the title of Anput." he said seriously.

"AND THAT BITCH IS!" She growled.

"I can sense it. YOU cannot. You're just blind with jealousy, plus you have been neglecting your duties!" he growled at her.

She broke down cry, "Still it's no fair. I've loved you for many years and all you ever did was ignore me."

"I told you years ago Serket, I did not believe you were the right one. So please, leave me be and do not ever touch or come near Nefertari again." he frowned.

"And what if I don't?" She asked

"I will report this to Osiris and have him find a replacement for you." he glared.

"You wouldn't dare!" She snarled.

"I do not lie Serket and know this." he said, turning to Nefertari, "You alright?"

She nodded,"Yes I'm fine."

"Sakhmet, Bastet. Remove her from my house if you don't mind." Sakmet whistled and her Lioness got off of Serket and she grabbed the scorpion goddess, "Come on, you have cause enough trouble."

Nefertari didn't realize this, but she was still clutching his arm

Anubis blinked and looked at his arm, "Umm, Nefertari, you can relax now." he said to her.

"Huh... Oh sorry." She blushed leting go of his arm

Sakhmet and Bastet escorted Serket out of Anubis' palace, "If we find out you are up no no good again, we will report to Osiris and we WON'T leave out the details." Sakhmet growled.

Anubis smiled a bit, "No, I do not blame you. But I should tell you how you are still living right now."

She blinked, "What do you mean?"

"You are living because I have given you my life force....you my dear are now a half goddess." he explained, with his hand over his heart.

Her gaze softened, "You gave up some of your life... for me?" She kissed his cheek, "That is THE sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me."

He smiled, "You're welcome. Well, I have three years to prove myself to you." he tried to sit up but felt dizzy, "Oh." he sat back down.

She looked at him worried, "Are you okay?"

"Just tired still. That was the first time I have given anyone a piece of my life." he chuckled a bit laying back down, "It would seem I need more rest."

"Well you saved my life," She blushed "So in turn I'll help you get better."

"You do not need to." he said sighing out of tiredness.

"H-How about a kiss?" She asked blushing furiously.

He looked at her with a surprised face, "A kiss? Are you certain, as I said you don't have to if you do not wish so." he said. sitting up a bit.

She blushed, "You saved my life... TWICE. I owe you something."

He smiled at her, "If you wish to do so, then I won't ojbect."

She put one hand on his shoulder and nervously leaned in to kiss him.

HE sighed a bit and leaned forward a bit and kissed her.

When their lips met she melted right then and there. It was so blissful

Anubis laid back and hooked an arm around her waist pulling her to lean on his chest, still kissing her.

She just stayed there not breaking the kiss. It was so magical. She'd never felt this way before.

Anubis pulled away, looking at her flushed face, "I take it you have never kissed a man before?"
