Bride of Anubis

She sighed and got up quietly and left.

He turned around, "I am sorry Nefertari. I will sleep in a separate room tonight." but when he went back in, he found she was gone. He sighed.

Nefertari went to go see Hathor.

Hothor was just about to go to bed, but a servant came to her and told her Nefertari was here, "I'll be back my husband." she headed to the main hall.

"My dear whats wrong?"

"It's Anubis." She sound like she was about to start crying.

She growled, once again Anubis got her upset, "My dear this has to stop. You keep getting upset. What happened now?"

She told her the story. "I'm sorry."

"You're frustrated and so is he......do you still love him?" she asked.

"I don't know anymore." She sighed

"My dear.....what are you going to do then? You can not stay here tonight and the full moon is but a week away." she sounded very worried.

"I don't know." She said. "Anubis is pushing me so much it hurts."

"Then talk to him. Its the only way to settle things." she suggested to her.

"I know your right, but I'm scared that if I talk to him it will go badly."

"Then have him do a gods vow, have him promise not to get angry when you have this talk and he will follow to it." she said.

She nodded, "Thank you Hathor. You always know how to make me feel better."

She smiled, "Now, go to him and talk to him."

She nodded, "Thank you." She went back home.

Anubis was sitting on the bed in their room and sighed, "I am such a cad."

Nefertari peeked into the room, "Anubis?"

He looked up, "Nefertari..." he answered back, still feeling really guilty.

"Please do not be upset at me."

"No, I am not up set with you....I should be forcing it on you." he sighed, "I am such a cad." his head drooped.

"So your not mad?"

"More...frustrated in a certain way than angry. If I am angry it is towards myself." he said laying back.

She came and hugged him, "I forgive you."

He wrapped his arms around her, "You have such a kind heart." he sighed.

"I love you Anubis."

He leaned own and kissed the top of her head, "I know, I do too." he sighed holding her for a while.

"Lets not fight again."

"I agree. I am sick of arguing" he smoothed out her hair.

She kissed him

He moved his hand to the back of her neck, threading his fingers in her black locks.

"I was scared there for a moment. I thought we might break up."

"I do not think I would cope if we separated." he chuckled a bit.

"I hope we never separate."

"As do I." he agreed.

She kissed him as he held her.

He kissed her back, holding her firmly, not wanting to let go.

"I love you so much Anubis."

But when she looked at him, she found him sleeping. He was so worried about her that he was really tired.

She chuckled and laid him down on the bed. "Good night."

He slept soundly through the night.

The next morning he found Nefertari still asleep

He smiled and quietly got up. He made a soft whistle and Ank and Otep came into the room, "Keep her safe, I will be back soon." they licked his hands before he left.

Nefertari woke up with a yawn, "Anubis?"

Ank and Otep perked up and they went to the bedside and they looked at Nefertari.

"Where is he?" She asked them

They got up and went to the door, they looked back at her, wanting her to follow.

she got out of bed and fallowed them

They led her through the throne room to a carved set of doors at the back.
