"OH come now, I'm not THAT foolish." Ravatus pouted a bit, "Did I mention CHILDISH as well." Raktim added.

"Hey, I'm your older brother too you know!" Raktim looked at him with an arched eyebrow, "Really? When were you?"

Gwen and Isis chuckled, "Should we leave them to fight?" Gwen asked her

"Yes. But it will not last long. Ravatus can not argue with Raktim because he has to respect him as King first before being his brother."

"How about a tour of the palace?" She smiled

"I think it would be a good idea." she agreed.

The girls got up and left the men to fight it out.

Isis showed Gwen the great hall where many painting and statues were standing, of the past kings and the spirits of the dragons.

"That one is the spirit of battle, Raktim's favourite spirit." she smiled, it was a bulky looking man with dragon wings coming out of his back and heavy armour.

She chuckled. "I can see why."

"All the soldiers of Balthazar look this spirit for strength and courage." she said.

She smiled, "I can see why."

Isis sighed, "When I first came here to Balthazar, I dreaded what my future was to hold. A life of servitude to the enemy King....it made miserable...."

She smiled, "Yet you fell in love with him."

She smiled, "Yes...but there were a few up and downs before I found out my feelings for him. He was a terribly flirty man, mainly he liked how I reacted to him. I even slapped him once" he chuckled.

She chuckled, "Frankly I can see that happening. Especially if he is anything like his brother. By the way... Is the reason he doesn't like me so much is because I'm marrying his brother. I mean I know they aren't that close."

"He never said he doesn't like you. When he's around other people he doesn't know, he's uncomfortable. He's been King since he was fifteen and so he stresses very easily. But while I am there he's more relaxed." she explained.

"When it comes to Ravatus, you won't change his mind on him."

She sighed, "If only he heard the way his bother talks about him with such pride and sadness. He really regrets what he did. Forcing the throne upon him like that and causing him to hate him. When he told me I could see he was fighting back tears. He really cares for him. If only Ratkim could see that."

"I did tell him once I wanted nothing more than to have siblings. I am an only child. Mother died when I was young and father.....well, I am not sure what has become of him." she shrugged.

Gwen looked at her appalled, "You are a queen now! You have the money and authority to find him! How can you be so relaxed about your own father missing?!"

She sighed, "First of all, it was back in Sakmet that we got separated and we were on the streets. It is possible that he could have died. The day I was snatched by the traders my father was no where in sight." her eyes turned sad, "I have no clue where he could be."

"You are a queen! You can hire an investigator to find out what happened."

"Then what? My father would not have accepted me marrying Raktim. He was a firm dragon hater, I doubt eve with Raktim being King he would have changed his mind."

She sighed, "You do not have to see him, but wouldn't give you piece of mind to know he is alive or not?"

"He was not doing well when we were thrown into the slums, he got sick within a week. I had a feeling a while ago that he was no longer in this world. I thought it over and over in my head, why he was not there on the morning i was taken." she sighed, "I even dreaded the thought that he pointed the traders to me."

"But he is your father! He would never do that!"

"He was devastated when we lost our wealth and he loved money just a bit more than he did me." she admitted. "I kept hearing him at night muttering what he did wrong to lose everything."

She sighed, "But still I cannot see a father giving up his only child."

"I do too. But there is not much I can do now. To be honest, I think I am a better person now ever since I became a maid here over two years ago, i was able to show a back bone." she smiled.

She smiled, "I'm glad to see you cheering up."

"Plus, I have made good friends with the girls here. Like Letti....and know I have a friend in you." she smiled.

She smiled back, "It gets even better... We'll be sisters."

"I always wanted one." she giggled, "But can you deal with Biileel and her craziness?"

She chuckled, "I think I can deal, but the real question is, can she deal with me and my craziness."

"Hmm, I don't know. SHe has two younger sisters who are crazier." she laughed.

"Are you sure they are crazier than me?" She asked raising her eyebrow teasingly.

Isis looked around and smiled, "You're about to find out."

"ISIS!!!" a pair of voices called out, There running down the call, was two teenaged girls coming right towards them.

"Haedra, Juutiel." she called back.

She chuckled, "I do think I'm crazier."

"Is this Gwen?" Juutiel asked, all hyped up.

"Girls! Calm down, you're in the palace." It was Biileel, "For the spirits sake. Oh Hello Gwen." she smiled.

She smiled back, "Hello Biileel."

""Sorry about the loud-mouthes." she looked at her sisters, "Hey!" the said in unison.

"Coe now girls we have a party to help with." she looked to Gwen,"You hare having a party soon are you not?"

She smiled, "It is tomorrow evening."

"The decoration need to be picked so the servants know how to decorate." Isis said, "Its just so everything goes smoothly."

She smiled, "What about red and white color scheme?"

"It sounds good, you just need to choose what the decorations will be and the servants will do the rest." Isis said.

She smiled, "Then lets go."

The table of fresh flowers and materials were still there and the servants were sorting them out, Colours and styles.

"Choose what you like and we'll find something to do with it." Isis instructed.

After Gwen picked everything out she went to go find Ravatus.

He was in his room , looking out to his garden, he was holding his cheek.

He heard footsteps, "Is that you Gwen?"

"Yes it is." She smiled, "I just finished with the planning."

He didn't turn around, "It sounds like you're making progress." he chuckled.

"Is something wrong?" She asked concerned.
