"See you later." she said, heading back to the court yard.

She went back to the palace and went strait to bed, exhausted from the day. Ravatus came to find out where she was and found her asleep.

He smiled and closed the door to give her peace.

But as ravatus left, Ruriel appeared on the outside balcony and quietly opened the doors and stepped in, he went over to Gwen, "GWen...Gwen." he whispered.

Gwen woke up, "Huh?" She said half asleep, "Who's there?"

"You forgot my voice already?" he said in a sight pout.

"Huh? Ruriel?" She said yawning, "Sorry but I was half asleep. I'm gonna be out of it." She smiled, "Why are you here?"

"Marriage?" he asked in worry.

Her smile faded, "Oh... you heard."

"More than heard, I saw you accept it." he added.

She looked away, "I had to. If I didn't he was gonna hurt Toximus."

"i got permission from the healer to move him to the INN we were staying at. Ravatus did not know of where we were bunking down."

She sighed, "I already gave him my word. I cannot back down."

He sighed sadly, "Then what I am to tell him? He is awake now."

Tears ran down her cheeks, "I don't know. I didn't know he was gonna want to marry me. I just assumed he would tire of me and let me go."

"You should not have underestimated him. THis is not the human world. Everything is different here." he wrapped his arms around, "I am sorry I couldn't do anything to help you."

"It's not your fault."

"Please.... just let me take you out of here." he said.

"I can't Ruriel. I gave my word."

He sighed again, "You have your grandmother's stubbornness."

"You do know how badly I wanna go with you, but I always keep my word."

He stood, "Well, I will keep an eye on you until the big day. I have been sensing dark movements outside the city."

"After the wedding, I'm gonna have Ravatus move us to one of his other palaces."

"It would be wise. It is getting very tense here."

"I can tell."

"Keep an eye out and be strong." he kissed her forehead.

She smiled thanks, "Tell Toximus I love him and miss him."

"I will. But...do I have your permission to restrain him if he tries to come after you BEFORE recovering?"

She sighed, "Just don't hurt him to much."

"Only subduing ." he promise. "Be good, I'll be watch close." he exited from the room out the balcony and flew off.

Ravatus entered just as Ruriel left.

"Are you alright Gwen?" he asked her.

She nodded, "I'm fine."

"I thought I heard you talking to someone?"

She shook her head, "It's nothing."

He was not fully convinced but he eft it alone, ""We leave tomorrow morning, a maid will come to wake you then Alright?"

She nodded, "Alright."

He nodded and smiled, "You should rest, you looked tired when we got back."

She smiled back, "Thank you."

He closed the door, letting her get some rest.

She laid back down and fell asleep.

Ruriel stayed nearby but had to keep out of sight as well.

"Celest....what do I do...."

That night while Ruriel slept Celest came to him in his dreams, "Hello my love." She smiled.

"This is a dream..."" he said with a smile.

She nodded, "You called for my help so I came." She looked like her younger self.

"He reached out to her face, "You look just as beautiful as I remember." he smiled.

She smiled as he caressed her cheek, "I have missed you. I spent many years trying to find you."

He sighed sadly, "I was trying not be found. But had I know you had come to the human world i would have seeked you out."

She smiled, "You have no clue how many black cats I had to sort through. If only I had searched a little longer. I would have found you."

"I didn't now you were looking for me either you must understand when I didn't want to be found because of my duty." he covered his heart.

She nodded, "I know, but I couldn't stand being apart from you. If only we were able to make our love known"
