"Then you accept?" he asked.

She nodded, "I accept."

Meanwhile Ruriel was listening in on their conversation.

"Gwen no!" he said to himself, "Oh dear...if Toximus finds out about this he'll go mad."

Ravatus happily held out his arm for her and she took it with out hesitation.

"Ruriel shook his head, "NO Gwen, don't give up." he pleaded quietly.

He watched as they walked off.

"I have to keep an eye on her." he quietly followed after them.

Ravatus took her back to the palace so he could plan their engagement party.

"You can do what you wish for this party, youhave full freedom on it." he smiled.

"I wanna invite Malantha and her warriors."

He nodded, "Of course. As you wish."

"Also your brother and his wife. Oh and Ruriel. Ruriel isn't a criminal he is a warrior."

"Hanging around a criminal and helping him is not very good either." he said.

"My brother might not be able to attend and Isis being pregnant, she is told to be careful and not travel until the baby is born."

She rolled her eyes, "Traveling will not hurt the baby. My mother traveled and worked up to the day I was born. She also did it with my brother. And many other women do it too."

"It is Raktim who wishes for her not to travel, its his first child and remember they are trying to keep the pregnancy secret for now until it is time to announce."

"Well number one, she isn't that far along so no one will be able to tell. Number 2, I'm sure she'll want to come."

He sighed, "She will need to inform Raktim that she is leaving the city. And do you not think if Anubiss finds out your friends with the Queen of the Dragon realm he might use that?"

She frowned, "Fine then. We'll bring the party to her."

He smiled, "Very Well."

"I'll go talk to Malantha." She said.

"Remember to tell the guards why your going in. Or they will not let you pass." he removed a madallion from his neck and put it on her, "If that fails show them that."

She nodded, "Thank you." She left to go find Malantha next door. She showed the guards the medallion and they let her pass. "Malantha, I wanna tell you something." She said trying her best to smile.

Malantha was in her soldier armour an just got off duty, "Hey Gwen.......is something wrong?"

"Well depends on your point of view." She sighed. "I'm marrying Ravatus."

She blinked, "..........I see."

"He sorta threatened me if I didn't behave." She said sadly. "He is using Toximus against me in order for me to marry him."

She frowned, "That son of a serpent."

Tears started to streak her cheeks, "I hate it."

She sighed and without a word Malantha stomped past Gwen, right towards the palace, Gwen knew where she was heading.

She ran after her, "No please stop!"

She looked at Gwen, "You let him push you around and threaten the one you love? I don't accept that!" she continued to stomp away.

"No! Please if you interfere he could have him killed!" She begged

SHe stopped, "Killed?"

"Yes." She said.

She sighed, "Fine. But if he does something else that is stupid, I WILL step in." she warned.

"Thank you," She sighed in relief.

She Nodded, "Is there something else you needed?" she asked, trying to calm down.

"I want you to come to the wedding and the party. You are the only one I'm close to here. I also want to incite your warriors."

She nodded. "Sure thing. We will be there."

She smiled, "Thank you. There really isn't much Ravatus can do to me after this."

"Well....did he ever tell you that in Dragon society, the WOMEN are to be respected at ALL times, not matter their status?" she smirked.

She blinked, "No I didn't, but that doesn't matter he can turn Toximus in anytime and have him killed if I do not behave,"

"But that rule is also to respect the WISHES of the woman as well. Tell me something. Did he say HOW Toximus would be 'killed' if you did not listen?" she crossed her arms.

"Well... no..." She sighed. "But what is done is done. I agreed to marry him. I can't go back on my word,"

She sighed, "If you need any tips about him, just ask me." she said very simply.

She smiled, "Thank you. I hope we become great friends one day."

"Some day? I thought we were pretty good friends now." she chuckled.

That made her smile even more. "Really? I guess we are." She chuckled

"If you need any help just ask." she smiled, "I got to get out of this armour."

She smiled, "I will. And now I must return to Ravatus before he suspects anything is wrong."
