He grumbled a bit but followed after her.

She was holding his hand which made him feel a bit better. "We have to get Ruriel out of here also."

Then he remembered, "I can't help you...if I help you, I will be killed."

"Well won't you be already? I mean you restored my memories!"

He sighed, "I'm planning to leave. I can't stay here any more. But if I go near Ruriel, he won't trust me."

"Well I don't care! At least help me get him out of here!" She looked into his eyes, "Please help.

He sighed even louder, "Alright, but I'll have to leave straight away after I do, alright?"

She sighed, "Okay," She looked at him with sad eyes, "After this I hope we meet again someday."

He nodded.

They carefully made their way to the dungeon and to Ruriel's cell.

She sighed trying not to think about loosing Toximus.

Ruriel was meditating, so the dark energy around him would not affect his mind.

Then he sensed light energy and tuned to the cell door, "Is that you Gwen?"

"Ruriel! I'm here." He saw her face through the window.

"Are you yourself again?" he asked, standing up.

Toximus opened the door and the energy layer vanished and the door opened, showing Toximus, Ruriel glared, "What is he doing here?"

"It's fine. He's a friend now. He restored my memory." She said. "So please play nice at least until we get out of here!"

"I'll show you out, then i'm gone." he said, glaring back at Ruriel.

Gwen nodded, "I know..." She turned away so he wouldn't see his sad face.

He sighed, sensing her sadness, "Look, I'll meet up with you when I'm out of danger." he said, "But right now, its too dangerous."

Ruriel noticed his tone towards Gwen but didn't say anything.

"Come on Let's go before someone comes."

She nodded, "Lets go."

They cautiously made their way threw the hall ways. Avoiding guards and energy sensors, thanks to Toximus.

Once they were outside, Gwen regarded him with sad eyes. "I guess that this is where we say good bye."

"Yeah.....for now at least." e looked at Ruriel, "You better protect her thi-" he paused then, "WATCH OUT!!!" Toximus grabbed Gwen and spun her around, Then a glowing blade went through Toximus' shoulder, "GAAAAAAHHH!" he screamed.

"TOXIMUS!" Gwen screamed. Then to their luck Toximus' snakes had fallowed him. They attacked the attacker.

But then, Nag came slithering out in a rush and wrapped around the three escapees, Talismyn and the rest came out, "They are trying to escape. Catch them."

Then the smaller snakes came hissing at them.

Nag then gave a loud hiss and they all vanished out of sight.

Gwen was hugging Toximus and crying.

Nag transported them all to a cave area, with his huge dark purple body coiled around them. HE kept an eye out at the front entrance and Ruriel did the same.

Toximus was bleeding badly.

Gwen was with Toximus, "I'm so sorry this happened." She cried whiled she tied a piece of cloth on his arm.

"I'm alright....h-honestly." he chuckled, but he flinched in pain.

Nag looked to his master, "Don't move master, you will make it worse."

She had it tied tight, "That should stop the bleed some what."

Nag turned to her, "You really care about my master, don't you?"

She nodded, "I do care for him."

"He may not say it aloud to me. But I can tell by his body language and his emotions, he cares a great deal for you. SO much that he has stepped into front of a blade for you." he nudged her gently.

Gwen nodded holding Toximus' head in her lap, "I know..." She whispered. She was about to start crying harder but was trying her best not to.

Nag laid his large head behind her, to comfort her.

Ruriel was still keeping watch at the mouth of the cave.

He was a bit peeved that Gwen fell in love with the enemy.

He went back to where they were, "How Gwen?"

She looked at him, "How what?"

"How did you fall for the enemy!?" he growled, but Nag hissed at him, making Ruriel back off.

She looked down at Toximus and ran her fingers through his hair, "I don't know. It kinda took me by surprise."

"You should not have let your feelings get into this!" Ruriel still growled. Nag hissed at him again, "You better had keep your tone down or we will be discovered!"

Gwen glared at him, "Do you think I can control who I like?! Just be great full it wasn't Anubiss!"

"No, you were calling him 'father'!" he almost shouted. Nag had enough and his tail cover his mouth, "Would you both ssshut up! We are not in the human world you know."

Gwen glared at Ruriel, "I couldn't help that!" She whispered furiously, then she looked at Nag, "What do you mean were not in the human world?"

The giant snake looked to Ruriel, "Sssurely you have noticssed you are home by now now?" he questioned.

Gwen looked between them, "What is going on?"

Ruriel shook his head, "W-We CAN'T be back in Guardian! We can't be." he was stunned.

Nag turned to Gwen, "We are in the Guardian World, Ruriel, my master's and my home."

Gwen was confused, "How did we get here."

Nag sighed, "I am afraid it was the only place I could think off to head to."

"Then why don't we go see this queen lady and warn her."

Ruriel thought she was insane, "The Empress! You cannot just walk in and ask to see her! You have to get past the four Sovereigns."

She shrugged, "Its important enough."
