Emerald Warrior

Dovad went to the forest area outside the city and landed in one of the largest trees in sight. He hid within the thick leaved branches of the tree and walked along the branches with ease, until he found a giant hollow in the trunk. Dovad entered it and laid down.

he nudged her gently, purring to her again.

She smiled and patted his head, "My look how big you've gotten."

Dovad loved the her touch and he gave a slight chirping noise of happiness.

He was about the size of a rather large horse but more muscular and his he has wings now.

She smiled, "Where are we?" She asked him

Dovad looked down out of the hollow, they were up very high but it was a great view outwards over the forest.

He licked the wound on her shoulder.

She winced at the touch.

He still licked it, cleaning her wound, trying to ease her pain.

He looked at her and blinked.

"Is something wrong?" She asked

He nudged her sore shoulder gently, giving a worried growled.

She patted his head, "I'll be fine."

He laid his head lightly on her lap and let out a sigh.

"I guess we'll be-" Her words were cut off by a large blue fire heading right towards them

Dovad blocked it and used his wings to shield Gwen. He and covered her and looked out of the hollow and bared his teeth at the intruder.

It was Vashti, "Get out of my way you mangy mutt!"

Dovad came out but stayed in front of the hollow, growling at Vashti and baring his teeth still, a sign in dragons is a threat and challenge.

She threw a fireball at at his wing injuring him

Dovad gave a squeal of pain but he growled again and took a deep breath and shot a fire ball the size of a basketball at Vashti.

She dogged it. "What a pain you are."

Dovad kept spitting them at her, not letting up.

"Talsmyn kill this dragon and I'll grab the girl."

Talysmin came out and looked a Dovad. He whistled and then a giant owl came out from the forest, screeching and flying right for Dovad.

"NO!!" She screamed. "DON'T HURT HIM!"

Dovad took a deep breath and held it for a moment, waiting for the exact moment the owl comes close enough.

The owl held out his talons ready to strike when Dovad shot a fireball even bigger than the ones he had been shooting before, bruning the owls feathers slightly.

Just then another dragon swooped down next to Gwen

He was way bigger than Dovad and he was a deep red colour with a slender face and has gold ornaments adorned his legs and neck.

The new dragon growled at Vashti and shot a breath of flames at her.

"Ravatus?" She said in shock

He looked at her, the same green eyes like his human form, "I am glad I caught up to you." he said through his mind.

Her jaw dropped in astonishment. "Remind me never to get you mad."

"We will talk about that later." he looked back up, seeing Vashti coming right at him, he swung his tail swatting Vashti away.

Talsmyn came from behind grabbing Gwen

Dovad lunged at him and got hold of Talysmin, biting into his shoulder, sinking his sharp teeth into his flesh, "AHHHHHH!!!" he cried out and dropped Gwen.

Vashti created a huge explosion knocking the two dragons and Gwen out

They fell to the forest floor. talysmin and Vashti landed on a lower branch of a smaller tree below the canopy.

Talsymin held his bleeding shoulder, "He got a vital point....bring the girl." he vanished.

She grabbed the Gwen and vanished alo

Toximus and Ruriel arrived to the scene and found the two dragons just coming around.

They flew down to them, "Are you alright?" Ruriel asked them.

Ravatus looked at them and recognised Ruriel, "Your the angel Gwen talks to." Ruriel blinked, "Pr-Prince Ravatus?!" he was surprised, "Are you alright sir?" Ruriel said changing his addressing.

Ravatus stood up and changed back to his human form, holding his head, "I am fine. Just very sore." Dovad hook his body and looked around, worried about his mistress.

"She's not here." Toximus said, "Where is GWEN!?" he shouted at Ravatus.

"She was with us before they knocked us out! They must have taken her." he shouted back.

"This is no time to argue!" Ruriel stepped in, "We need to find out where they are."

Gwen woke up in chains, "What happened..."

Talysmin looked over her, "You were knocked out....." he said in his usual stoic tone.

She immediately tensed, "Whats going on? Why are you after me? I'm no longer with Toximus."

He just went 'hmph' and walked away, "You may say that if you wish, but the master believes you will be a great asset to our little group with the added bonus of being bait for Toximus and Ruriel to come looking for you." he said flinching a bit.

"Plus, you 'pet' almost made me bleed to death." he added.

"Well you deserved it." She mumbled fallowed by a slap on her face by Talsmyn

"I don't like being injured...and when I am injured, I am not pleasant to be around." he warned calmly.

"Injured or not your still unpleasant." She grumbled

He was about to slap her again when he looked up, "My lord." he bowed.

"I see the prisoner is awake. Now tell me, where is Toximus and Ruriel."

"They were no where in sight when we attacked in the city or when we took her from the dragons protecting her." Talysmin stated.

"Hmm... Very interesting. What could a couple of dragons want with you?"

"One was the Prince Ravatus, who was trying to marry her. The other was a pet." Talysmin said with a bit of annoyance.

He chuckled, "Seems you attract attention where ever you go."

"Her pet was a Volcanic Stoker....and he lived up to their reputation, overly protective." he showed where his bitten shoulder, that was patched up and bandaged.

"My, my what a nasty bite."
