"Oh come on. He doesn't have power outside the dragon realm. You are part angel right? Head the Angel Capital Enzo." she said.

"But Toximus is wanted... They wont take us in"

She sighed, "You don't know until you try." she said, "You were one of the most confident girls I've seen in school, what happened to that confidence?"

She looked down at her hands, "With the man I love."

Kayla shook her head, "Gwen....go find him and run for it. If you love this guy than forget what others say and go!"

"I can't. I ruined it with him. I lied and told him I didn't love him."

Kayla sighed, "I don't know what to tell you then." she sat on the bed, "What now?"

"I get married," She sighed

"Don't do it Gwen, you don't marry him. You don't love him." she begged.

"I know but I have to,"

She sighed, "Alright. I can't convince you. I have to get back to the mansion, Come on Yuun." she said as the small dragon followed her.

Dovad was a bit said when Yuun left.

She smiled and patted his head, "Seems you've found a friend."

He he gave a playful growl and licked her hand.

"Well at least you can go visit him."

He sat close to her, not wanting to leave her side.

She patted his head, "We are gonna be best friends."

He rubbed his cheek against her and to her surprise, Dovad purred.

She chuckled and picked him up, "Who knew dragons purred."

Later on...

The wedding was soon and Ravatus went to go and talk to Gwen before heading to a separate part of the palace to be ready for the wedding.

He knocked on the door.

"Come in." She called.

Dovad was laying on the bed as he entered, "I came to apologise for earlier." he said, "I do not want you hating me more than you probably do already." he said.

"Rrrr." Dovad rumbled a bit.

Gwen patted Dovad's head, "Shh... Be nice." She turned to Ravatus, "It's fine, you were right it is dangerous for me to go out."

Dovad calmed at her touch, "He seems to respond to you very well." he said.

"I came to say good night and to not be so nervous about the wedding. To be honest I anm rather nervous myself." he confessed.

She smiled, "Thank you. Now you should go before the maids kick you out. They wont be happy to find you in here the night before the wedding."

He chuckled then walked over to her, got her hand and kiss it. "Good night...my lovely." he gave a small bow and left.

"Good night," She smiled, then sighed when he left.

Dovad was looking out the balcony but wasn't growling.

"Is some one out there?"

Dovad jumped off the bed ad went to go look. He sniffed around the balcony and looked about, but nothing was there. He came back, nothing was wrong.

She sighed and changed into her nightgown and laid down on the bed.

Dovad curled up at the foot of the bed and fell right asleep with Gwen.

The next morning Gwen was woken up be a horde of maids.

"Time to wake up!" they all said, grabbing her out of bed and taking her to the bathing chamber. Dovad followed right after them.

She groaned in complaint as they dragged her out of bed. In the bathing chamber she glared at Dovad, "You couldn't have scared them this time?" She sighed

He gave a playful growl as he continued to follow her.

She smiled and patted his head, "You are sweet."

The maids got Gwen undressed and into the bath. THey had a couple of boxes filled with scented soaps and oils.

Dovad stayed at the side of the bath just sniffing the water.

Gwen smiled and pulled him in. "Water is nothing to be afraid of."

Dovad struggled to get out and he crawlled out of the bath and shook his body off.

The maids looked at Gwen, "He is a Volcanic Stoker Miss, they do not like water." one said.

She sighed and pouted at him, "Come on."

"His breed live inside or around volcanos, they swim in the lava." they said, "And when they get angry, they make the volcano erupt by thrashing about in the lava, hence their name."

She scratched him under his chin, "You wouldn't get mad at me, would you?"

He licked her hand and moved to a dry spot near the bath's edge, "Being young he's very forgiving." they smiled.

She smiled and kissed his head, "Your a sweety."

After about an hour in the bath with oils and cleansing, they headed to the next room to get her dress ready.

It was white, roman styled of course and it had gold trimming with long dangling sleeves. Dovad was smelling the bouquet of flowers she was bought.

She sighed, "It's pretty."

"Are you alright miss?" one maid asked, "You have been sighing a lot this morning."

"Just nervous." She smiled

She nodded and continued to dress her.

They did her make-up and curled her hair, pinning it up and added white lilies.

"You look beautiful miss." one mad complimented.

She smiled, "Thank you."
