"Because your dad is working and your mom already went into town."

She was a little disturbed, "I am torn between wanting to KNOW how you know that and with wanting to NOT know at all." she sighed, heading to her room to change

"Word around here goes around fast." He grinned

"Which I find creepy." she grumbled a bit.

"Well that and my uncle is his boss,"

She got changed and came back out. in three-qauter jeans and a simple white shirt. "I forgot about that." -_-;

He chuckled, "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it." she sighed, "Well, are we going?" she asked.

"Yep. Lets go."

They walked through the streets of Hangman's Hill. Jenni still didn't like the name, it freaked her out, "Why is it called Hangman's hill? Was it where people were executed or something?" she asked, getting a little blue in the face.

"It's to keep humans away."He explained, "What human would want to live in a place called Hangman's Hill?"

"People who like horror films?" she guessed.

"No not even them because they thing this is just a deserted piece of land."

"I still don't understand why they would think our family is an exception?" she said as they walked.

"Well my dad knows, but he isn't saying anything."

"I'm not sure if I want to meet your father." she was a little freaked out about being around more than one vampire.

"Don't worry. He wont hurt you. He was actually the one who outlawed Vampires feeding on humans. He thinks it's savage. You must have permission from the human in oder to bite them." He smiled proud of his dad, "One reason is because of my mother, she was a human... Well until he turned her."

She sighed in relief.

SHe looked to the street they were on, "Horseman Way? Like the Headless Horseman from sleepy hollow?" she asked.

He shrugged, "I guess if you think of it that way, it's actually where the centaurs are."

"There are centaurs too?!" she asked with stunned eyes.

"Yeah everything you thought was a myth is real. Except the boogie man."

"I was scared of the boogie man when I was smaller." she laughed nervously ^^;

"So was I." He smiled

She chuckled a little, "So where are going?" she saw giant building in the distance, "Is that the mall?"

He nodded, "Yep it is."

"Is that where we're going?" she queried.

"Yep." He smiled at held out his hand,

She looked at his hand, "What is it?"

He chuckled, "I was kinda hoping you'd take it,"

She looked at his hand for a moment and sighed, he had been good to her and hasn't tried to kiss her again, she took his hand.

He smiled, "You just made my day."

She blushed when he said that. And the walked to the mall.

Lilly was there, "I thought you two would never get here."

"EH!!?? WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" she thought she was still at school.

"School is for looser's."

She sighed aloud. "I like school." then she realised she was still holding hands with Xadrian, "What are you doing here then Lilly?" she tried to pull her hand away, but Xadrian was letting it happen.

"Well to get my hair done. Duh.. bt the stupid Salon isn't open."

"You mean Destiny's Salon?" she asked, "Xadrian why aren't you letting go of my hand?"

He looked at her, "Oh sorry I didn't realize..." He let go of her hand

She blushed knowing Lilly saw that.

Lilly seemed as if she didn't care.

"What does the teachers REALLY don't care if we come in at all?" she asked him.

Xadrian smiled, "Not really. They care about everyone else just not the royals, because one day we'll be their boss."

"again with the perks of being future leaders." she sighed, "So if I had requested to leave and you didn't it wouldn't have happened?" she perked an eyebrow.

"She would've sent you to the nurse."

"I should have known." she looked at the mall, "Its big."

They shrugged, "Not really," Lilly said

"Well it is to me. Its twice the size of the mall in my old town." she said with a pout.

Lilly gaped, "Really? How small was it?"

It had shops, clothes, food court and moives. And a really nice place for home-made lemonade and pancakes." she smiled.
