Hollow High

Jenni and Jonny Playnman were unpacking their belongings from the last boxes. Jenni was not happy about moving, "Why do WE have to go too?" she sighed to her mother.

"Jennifer Marie Playnman we have talked about this already. Your father has been VERY fortunate to get this promotion and a new house. Think of it as an adventure." she said.

Xadrian Davignon Was waiting up in a tree out of sight when they arrived, "So it is true." He smirked, "There is new blood in Hangman's Hill."

Jenni went up to her new room to get her things set up. Her bed was already there and read along with her wardrobe. The town her family came to was call Hangman's Hill, it looked like and SOUNDED like something out of a horror movie, Jenni hated Horror themes.

She wanted to be back in her old town, where she KNEW people and felt SAFE to actually walk the streets. She sighed and put away her clothes.

Then she thought she saw movement outside her window but she ignored it, not wanting to think more on the horror subject.

Jenni perked Xadrain's interest, "Well, well... Who is this beauty?"

Jenni felt like she was being watched and she frowned. She looked out her window and thought she saw a figure in the tree. SHe gasped and tripped back, "WAHAAA!!" she fell onto the carpet floor.

Her brother came up, "Jenni!?" he saw all her clothes on her after tripping, "WHat happened?" Jenni pointed to the window, "THERE'S SOMEONE IN THE TREE!!" Jonny sighed and went to look, he saw nothing.

"Seriously Jenni, aren't we a bit old for tricks like these?" he laughed and left the room. Jenni frowned.

She didn't see him again that day, but he was still watching, "So... She could see through my barrier." He grinned, "This should be real interesting."

The next morning...

Jenni and her brother unpacked a bit more before coming down for breakfast. Luckily they still had some of the food from the old house brought over. Their mum was cooking up some bacon and eggs. SHe was yet to get some bread and milk.

"Jenni and Jonny, be ready to head out in ten minutes." she told them. "Why?" asked Jonny. "You two are going for your first day at your new school."

They both almost choked on their breakfast, "WHAT?" "But we haven't even unpacked everything! You two can't do this on your own!" said Jenny. "Your father and I will be fine, what is more important now is for you two is to GET into school and settle down." they sighed and went to get ready.

Xadrain woke up late almost smashing his alarm clock, "Geez I do not like waking up this early." He went down to the kitchen and grabbed a bag of blood and put it in the microwave.

Jenny quickly got changed into a nice t-shirt, with dark blue tights and a denim skirt over them. SHe got her honey brown hair into a ponytail and made sure to have her glasses in her bag.

They hopped into the car and they were on their way.

After dropping his sister off at the elementary school he went to the high school. He sat down in class and leaned back in his seat.

Jenni and her brother looked out the window as beheld their new school, which was titled, "Hollow High? Now you can't look at that and NOT think HORROR movie!" Jenny frowned.

Her mother frowned back, "Don't be rude Jenni. Both of you behave and look out for each other. Have fun." they stepped out of the car and their mum drove away. Jenni sighed, her brother patted her shoulder, "Come on Jenni, let's go and get our school schedule." they headed to the main building.

Lilly the nymph came to up to Xadrian, sat down in his lap and grind herself against him. "Xadrian." She pouted, "I didn't get to see you last night."

Jenni and Jonny got their required papers and headed to their room that the front desk lady showed them.

Room 13 for their classroom. Jenni sighed at ALL the horror things you could find. She took a deep breath, he brother chuckled, "Come on you nervous wreck." he opened the door and they stepped in.

Jenni could feel her stomach bouncing about.

Xadrian sighed, "Lilly get off me I'm not in the mood."
"Oh fine," She pouted

They both went to look for their seats. But Jenni noticed Jonny already got a spot and NO spare seat next to him. She sighed a huff and scanned the room, she saw a spot next to the windows, WAY on the other side of the room. She looked to see who her neighbours and she got her breath stuck in her throat. She was sitting next to a guy with shiny black hair, rather pale skin and he was talking to a really beautiful girl.

She quietly made her way to her seat, making sure not to give eye contact.

Lilly got off his lap and went to her seat. Xadrian leaned forward, "Why hello there gorgeous."

Jenni thought he was talking to the other girl, so she didn't answer. She sat down and looked through her bag.

He took a lock of her hair and held it up to his nose, "So what brings you to Hangman's Hill?"

Jenni froze and turned to the guy next to her. She pulled her hair out of his hand, "Can I HELP you?" she frowned.

"How about telling me your name, gorgeous." He smirked

"It is MORE polite to introduce YOURSELF before asking for another's name." she continued to frown.

He chuckled, "Please forgive me, I'm Xadrian." He smirked, "Xadrian Davignon."

Jenni was just about to answer when the teacher walked in.

"Alright, alright settle down." everyone got to their seats and quieted down. The teacher smiled, "Class we have two news students and classmates. Will Johnathan Playnman stand up," Jonny stood "and Jennifer Playnman stand up." Jenni sighed at the sound f her full name and stood.

"Make them feel welcome and be kind to them." he smiled.

Xadrian's eyes never left her.

Jenni could feel Xadrian's eyes staring at her, the other students didn't seem to bother her, just his.

After the teacher did the role call, "ALright everyone A have a present for you all...POP QUIZ!" he chuckled.

Most of the students moaned and groaned. Jenni was happy to see something she liked. When she got her paper she scanned through it.

"You may begin." the students started.

Xadrian finished his quickly. And when Jeni was done he leaned forward and whispered in her ear, "So how do you like it here so far."

SHe shivered and covered her ear, "Do you mind!?" she whispered through her teeth. "I can't give an opinion yet since I haven't been here long enough."

He chuckled,"Well If you want. I'll be your guide."

SHe blushed, "N-No thank you." she turned away, looking out the window. 'Why am I getting a creepy feeling from him?'

He pouted, "Why Miss Jenifer do you intend to bruise my honor?"

She stared at him dryly, "No. I don't trust you, that's all." 'DOn't look at him. DOn't look at him!' she kept chanting in her mind.

He continued to pout, "Have I done a thing to harm you?"

"No..I-Uh.." she didn't have an answer.

He chuckled, "Then please do not deny me the honor of escorting a lovely lady like your self around the school."

'You gotta be kidding me.' "Why do you want you 'escort' me? I'm a nerd." she said.

He smiled, "You may be a nerd but you are also very lovely. Besides we don't use labels here."

"That's what they all say and then it all become labelling in the end." she sighed. SHe blinked, "Wait why am I even talking about this with you?"

He smirked, "Well may I escort you?"

Jenni looked at her brother, but he was finished already and was sitting quietly. She sighed, "Fine. But don't touch my hair again."

He chuckled, "I'll try to restrain myself."

After the quiz was done, the class could go. Jonny wondered where his sister went and sighed.

"Where is she?"

Jenni was being escorted around by Xadrian.

"So my dear where is your next class?"

"Uhh..." she looked at her schedule, "Art class?" she said.

He smiled, "Well then Miss Jenifer. I shall escort you there."

She rolled her eyes a bit, "Are you always like this? Or is just to embarrass me?"

He acted hurt, :Now why would i want to embarrass a wonderful lady like you."

"Wonderful? Who are you talking about?" she laughed a little.

He chuckled, "Why you of course."

"You barely KNOW me and yet you're flirting? Look, I'm flattered....but I'm not your type." she said.

He chuckled, "You don't even know my type."
