"Please Toximus, I need to try..."

Ruriel shook his head, "COme along Gwen, he won't change his mind."

Toximus glared at him, "AND YOU!!?? You are going ALONG with this!!!" Ruriel glared, "I am going to protect her."

"I'll be safe Toximus, I promise."

"Don't you go!! GWen!" he shouted as they left. He slumped down, "She's done for."

She sighed, "I really wish he would have accepted it."

"he wouldn't have if you had begged him." Ruriel said.

"Perhaps not. But Is it not a good thing he does not want you to be harmed?"Uzar asked.

She sighed nodding, "I guess so."

"Gwen, maybe this isn't such a good idea." Kayla said, worried also.

Even Dovad was whimpering.

She sighed, "I know it isn't a good idea, but I have to do this, I wanna see Toximus free. He has done so much for me and now its my turn."

"You should have tried for him being banished." Uzar sighed.

"This is going to be more difficult with 'you know who' now wonder about Guardian. We'll be done for if him or his High Ranks appear on us now." said Raphael.

"Well we wont know unless we try."

"Personally, I would not want to meet his High Ranks." Ruriel said, "I have heard many terrible things about them...and their abilities."

"That's why we need to get to Anubiss NOW." She said.

"First we need to find out where he is first." Ruriel said.

Uzar tapped his chin, "I think I have an idea."

She turned to him, "What is it."

"I know one of them goes to a tavern in the neighbouring city. We just need to be quick is all." Uzar said.

"If we catch him and get him to confess, we can figure out where Anubiss will be." he added.

She nodded, "Sounds good. Lets go!" She started walking, but Ruriel grabbed her arm stopping her. "What is it?"

"You should stay here for now. It will not be hard in catching him. I think I know who Uzar is talking about." Ruriel said, "Besides, You should try and practise your abilities a bit."

She sighed, "Fine..."

He patted her head, "Besides, if you want this plan of yours to work, we need to be fully prepared...YOU need to be fully prepared."

"I suggest you study on 'you know who' to know what he is about." Raphael suggested to her, "There is a private section in the library of the Academy that is off limits to students. Go up the stairs and you find the books on him."

"I'll need a note." she grumbled.

Raphael chuckled, "I'll send for Teddis He'll show you the way."

"Okay..." She sighed.

They went on their way and headed to a portal the heads to the next city.

Kayla decided to stay and help Gwen look for the books. They met back up with Teddis, he was in his older lion look when he met them again, "I got word from Raphael and what you need, follow me." he said, heading into the library of the Academy .

They went up stairs, but it was different from the rest of the the library, it was old and dusty and everything looked like it had not been tended to for a long time. "Wow, and I thought MY room back home was messy." Kayla said.

She sighed as she read the books, "I wish I could go with the guys..."

"hey the more we know about our enemy, the better I think." said Kayla, "Don't worry, they'll come through."

"Hey look at what I found..." she said, showing a really think old book.

She sighed looking at the book, "What is it?"

"Do you think it has anything to do with this Chamberlan guy?" she questioned.

"Possibly." She said interested

"There's more here." Kayla added.

'..Chamberlan was rumoured to be a servant of Phazartheroth, the said father of Pharaztheron. Phazartheroth was the spirit of the dead and darkness. Chamberlan's abilities were very much like of a shape-shifter, he could disguise himself and change his physical form…'

"So he could be anyone?" She gasped. "ANUBISS!"

"Does that mean the Elementals are being used?" Kayla asked.

She nodded, "That's why Anubiss needs Toximus so badly."

"Because he might spill the beans about Anubiss and his TRUE allegiance." Kayla said.

She shook her head, "No... I think he IS Anubiss."

"Then we should get going!!" Kayla and Gwen rushed out of the library.

"I have to go tell Toximus first."

"We'll split up, You go to Toximus, I'll meet Uzar and the guys." Kayla headed to the Portal Centre.

Gwen ran to find Toximus, "Toximus..." She said out of breath, "Anubiss.... Anubiss is Chamberlan."

Toximus blinked, "Huh? Gwen calm down, what are you saying?"
