"Well it's the truth." He growled, "And I will not have you putting doubts into my bride's head."

"It her I'm worried about. You don't love her....." she walked up to him, "Why did you leave me....I was READY to be your wife." her tone turned sad.

He sighed, "Malantha-"

"Did you even care about me when we were together?" she asked him. Ravatus looked down and not responding.

"I see.....be warned Ravatus, if you make her miserable, I'll make YOUR life miserable." she said walking away, Ravatus exhaled and went the other direction.

Gwen came out of the dining room, "Is everything okay?"

"Yes, Malantha just wanted to say something." he said.

"Ah..." She said, "Well shall we go see to the preparations?"

"Yes we shall." he smiled.

She took his arm as they walked to the ball room.

The great hall was decorated with red flowers and white cloth hanging from the columns, "I like the coloration." he complimented.

She smiled, "Thank you, but I think all the credit goes to the people who decorated it."

"Of course. But you chose the colours my dear." he smiled.

She smiled, "True, but I didn't do the work."

"Alright, alright. My compliments to the servants." he said.

She smiled, "Good." She kissed his cheek.

They headed out to the garden area where the party would be also.

The gardens were being neatened and cleared.

"Everything looks wonderful!" She smiled

"We dragons like everything to be perfect on such an occasion." he smiled.

She chuckled "I can tell."

"I need to go and prepare myself, and you should be doing so as well." he suggested.

She nodded "I will." She gave him a kiss on the cheek and left.

He smiled again when gave him a peck and he headed to his room.

She dressed in one of the fancier pink gowns Isis had given her.

A knock came to her door, "Miss, her majesty Queen Isis is here to see you."

"Oh! Come in!" She called.

The maid opened the door and Isis stepped in, "Hello Gwen. I have a gift for you." she grinned, carrying in a small but beautifully made wooden box.

"Oh you didn't have too."

"But I wanted to. Besides, its my gift for you engagement." she opened it, to reveal a beautifully crafted necklace with right blood red and orange gems encased int gold, "I had it made for you. They are the national gems of Balthazar, fire opals."

"It's so pretty!" She gasped

"Also..." she got a flatter box out, "Raktim is a bit busy and told me to give his gift to you." she smiled, "He figured you would like this gift like any other young girl."

"Awww you guys really do not have to do this."

"Open the box, its PART of Raktim's gift." she giggled.

"Oh dear... I'm scared now." She opened the box

She laughed, "Don't be, I have a feeling you will like it."

Gwen opened it and it was a dark red collar? With real silver studs.

"What is this?" She asked

She smiled and turned to the door, "Let him in."

The door opened and Raktim came in with a cat sized dragon in arm, "You look nice." he chuckled.

The little dragon's tail wagged happily.

"What in the world..." She marveled

He put the little fellow on the ground and the dragon chirped and bounded over to her,

"Do you like him?" Raktim asked.

"Yes! I do. Thank you so much, both of you."

Raktim gave a slight grin, "I am glad, he is the pick of the litter." Isis giggled, "You and your perfect breeding."

The dragon pup licked her face, "He has not been named yet." Raktim added.

She picked him up, "Hmmm.... im not sure what to name him."

Raktim shrugged, "Call him whatever you wish. But i should tell you now, he may be small now, but his breed grow LARGE, especially the males." he chuckled.

She chuckled,, "I wouldn't know."

The little guy looked at her and nudged her arm and chirped. Gwen noticed he had no wings.

"Where are the wings?"

"They are there, they jut have not formed." Raktim came over and showed two bumps on the little guys back, "As he grows, the wings will spout from here and grow as he does. So do not worry about it." he chuckled.

"Well, we hope you like your gifts." Isis smiled.

She smiled, "I love them thank you both so much!"

"We shall let you finish getting ready." Raktim gave a nod and Escorted his wife out of the room.

The little dragon was sniffing the collar in the flat box.

"Huh? You want me to put it on you?"

Gwen got the collar and the little fellow willingly let her get it on.

He chirped and jumped around, but then he gave a burp and a small puff of grey smoke floated into the air.

She chuckled, "Now I have to finish getting ready."

The little dragon followed her and jumped onto the bed.
