Team-Up

Mana arrived at the gates with her team-mates not far behind her.

"Sorry we're late!" Tsukiko apologized.

"So, where's our client?" Mana asked, turning her head to see. "I don't see the palanquin anywhere."

Danya smiles. "I know, it will be a great experience to see you fight full force" Danya smirks.

Ryan smirked as he pulls Tsukiko closer to him. "Awesome! Let's go for pizza!" He snickers.

After a fun night of merriment. Danya was waiting by the gate for her teammates and Mana and her teammates.

Tsukiko, oblivious as always, giggled at Ryan. "Actually, food sounds like a wonderful idea." Yayoi on the other hand wasn't impressed by the offer and moved away from Ryan, pulling Tsukiko along by her arm. "Nah-ah. We don't hang with pervos."

"Well, I guess." Mana replied in her cold tone. "This will be the first time I've ever worked with you before, not counting the exams."

Brian took the lead to leave the room with Ryan in between Yayoi and Tsukiko.

"Do you nice ladies want to go out to eat while discussing the mission?" Ryan smirks as he brings the two girls closer to him.

Danya sighs as she watches Ryan, ready to kick his ass in a heart beat. "Dumbass..."

Danya looks to Mana. "So, how have you been doing?"

Tsunaded looked over at Brain. "Of course. Actually the mission will begin tomorrow morning at the village entrance. 7:30 sharp. Lord Ujitaro and his colleagues will meet you all there. You are all dismissed."

On the way out, Tsukiko briefed the mission to Danya's team. "...and that's the whole thing. I look forward to working with you three."

Danya laughs and braces for Yayoi's glomp. "Haha, Hello again Yayoi, how are you doing?"

Brian looked at Tsuande. "We are very sorry, we have no excuse, nevertheless, I am sure Mana and her group will debrief us on our way out, I am sure you want us to get to work right away yes?"

Tsukiko jumped a little from Danya's sudden entrance.

Yayoi almost immediately glomped Danya when she walked further into the room. "HIYA DANYA-CHAN!!"

Hearing Ryan's voice, Mana frowned under her headband. I remember that irritable voice from the Chunin Exams...

"Ah,' said Tsunade. "I was just talking about you three. You...are a little late though...I just briefed Mana earlier on the mission both your teams will undertake."

Danya came busting through the door with a huge grin on her face. "WHAT UP!?"

Brian with shadows covering his eyes stare at the other team. "Hey, It's Mana's group." Right after he said Mana, Ryan, busted through the two.

"My lovely ladie... ACK ." Both Danya and Ryan have succesfully pulled back Ryan before he had the chance to tackle the young ladies.

"Down boy!"

Hidden Leaf Village, Tsunade's office, 9:30am...


"I've an A-ranked mission for your team, Mana."

Mana and her team-mates Tsukiko and Yayoi listened intently as they stood before their hokage's desk.

"Your job," Tsunade continued. "Will be to escort Lord Ujitaro, son of nobleman Yoichimaru, to Hidden Waterfall for his arranged marriage to Umekahime, daughter of Lord Tachibana."

Mana nodded. "Understood M'lady. When do we leave?"

"Tomorrow morning, 7:30am at the village entrance. Oh, and one other thing."

Though Mana's headband covered her eyes, you could see her raise an eyebrow curiously. "Yes, M'lady?"

"You won't be the only team undertaking this mission."

At the end of Tsuande's sentence, the door swung open.
