"Maybe so. But I bet I'm not that type. I'm not a fancy person and you..." she looked him up and down. She blushed a bit, "Look well bred." she cleared her voice.

He chuckled once more, "Well bred? Then I guess I'm a dog. Woof." He teased her

"I didn't mean like THAT! I mean- AHH! You know what I mean." she huffed.

He smiled, "I do know. But who's to say that your not my type?"

"I doubt you want a plane jane girl who would prefer a book over make-up." she said.

He frowned and stopped her, "Please do not degrade yourself like this. You are a truly beautiful girl."

"Look, I've never thought myself as beautiful or pretty. I'm plane." she stated, not even bothered.

"Please do not doubt your beauty and your exotic features." He said.

"Exotic? Now THAT is definitely not true." she shook her head, "Thanks for the compliments but, I just don't see it on me." she shrugged.

He sighed, "Your face, your hair, your skin, even your smell is intoxicating."

"Uhhh....Ok. Hearing that from a boy I JUST met is kinda creepy." she said take a small step to the side.

"Fine if you don't believe me..." He grabbed another student walking in the halls, "Jason, is this girl beautiful."

Jason looked at him as if he was crazy for asking, "Of course she is."

She blinked, "Don't' bring other people into this!" she blushed bright red.

He smiled at her, "You see I'm not lying. Come on, or else you'll be late to class."

"Thanks.....I guess." she headed to the class room.

He smiled, "I'll see you later." He walked out of class just to return through a different door and take his seat. He was gonna have fun teasing her

Jenni made sure he was gone before she sat down. She enjoyed the art class, the teacher, Miss Oliver was really nice. The class were working with clay and ceramics for the term. Jenni always wanted to try pottery.

Later...

Jenni looked to her next class, study session in the library. SHe remembered seeing the library earlier and went on her way.

He had the same class as her yet again. This turned out to be quite amusing for him

Jenni went to look for a book to read. SHe had her glasses on to read the titles.

Xadrian smirked when he saw Jenni in the Library. He came up behind her and leaned at one side of her, "Well hello again gorgeous."

"Eeek!" she jumped but she covered her mouth. She neatened her glasses, "Don't do that!" she frowned at him.

He chuckled, "Can I help you find something?"

"No thank you. I'm doing fine." she neatened her glasses and turned around scanning the shelf.

"Really? Why don't you tell me what book your looking for?"

"Nothing you would be interested in." she said.

He chuckled, "Do tell me. Is it about quantum physics?" He seemed a bit interested

"Hey I'm not THAT kind of nerd. It's a novel I'm looking for." she said.

He chuckled, "Well I am. I enjoy quantum physics. But what novel are you looking for? Maybe I can help."

"Heir to Seven Waters." she said, "I was reading the last volume and I was enjoying it."

He smiled, "It is a good book, I've been reading it myself. But you are looking in the wrong section. Its down here." He lead her to another isle.

"thanks." she went to head to the next isle, wanting to get away from Xadrian.

He sighed and went to the science section.

"He came out of no where. How is he so quiet?" she asked herself.

Xadrian had gotten a physics book.

Jenni STILL couldn't find her book. SHe grumbled, "This is stupid! They should have it somewhere?"

"Need help?" He said from behind her.

She flinched, "Ah! Oh how are you so quiet!?" she asked him. "I never hear your footsteps."

"There is carpet." He pointed out.

She rolled her eyes, "Fine. DO you know where it is?" sighing.

He chuckled, "Yes I do..." He got it down from one of the shelves.

She sighed again, "Thank you....are you IN my class or are you stalking me?"

He chuckled, "I actually am in your class."

She nodded, "Well...thanks again." she tried to walk past him.

He stopped her, "What lunch do you have?"

"I beg your pardon?" she backed up, only to be blocked by the shelf. She gasped quietly. She was not used to boys standing this chose to her, yet alone flirt.

"I would like to spend more time with such a lovely lady." He smiled

"Uhh..." she looked both ways, they were alone. SHe couldn't do anything. He was fricken taller than her and had a rather.....intenseness, with a slight sense of intimidation with a dash of alluring energy about him....

"W-WHy?" was all should could up with.

He smiled, "because I wish to become your friend,"

Besides her brother, she had never had any friends who were MALE, this made it a bit awkward and slightly strange to Jenni.

"Are you sure you want to be friends with a nerd?" she asked him.

He chuckled, "I'm as every bit a nerd as you are. But yes I don't care about labels, I don't judge before I get to know the person."
